How to prevent logging in out of guild hall? - Guild Wars Forums

Sometimes when I log into a character that's supposed to be in the guild hall, I'll see the load screen for my guild hall for a split second, then I'll load up a different map. Usually it's the map that the character was in before mapping to the guild hall. This is really annoying because sometimes I want to get to my guild hall quick, but I'll be stuck loading slowly a map full of people, such as Kamadan.

How do I prevent logging in to a different map other than my guild hall?

This happens to me a lot, usually when I'm shuffling inventories around. Apparently if your last visit to the GH was too short, it may bump no. I'm not sure why...

I believe Anet made this measure due to a bug a while back that disallowed characters to load when they were in the guild hall.

I think time is irrelevant. Sometimes, I log in for a few seconds, and it's okay. Other times, I'm in the GH for hours, then I get kicked out when I relog.

Happens to me also. Noticed it but now that you have brought it up there is probably a reason of which I have no clue.

Usually it's not a problem for me during the first character chance, but if i go into the same character a second time I'll be in 'last outpost' instead of hall. If I've swapped things between character a few times, I'll just close the client for about 10secs, and log in again. This resets the counter or whatever it is that kicks you out.
